James VanValkenburgh (Jim) has been active in the Portland Real Estate industry since 1977; holding key positions in the Real Estate Industry involving Property, Management, Leasing and Sales. Prior to moving to Maine in 1977, Jim was the property manager for Alaska Airlines in Seattle, Washington.
Jim is also Co-Owner of Fishman Property Management and has over 25 years of experience in the management and sales of residential and commercial properties throughout Maine. He was awarded the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 1980. This is a professional designation awarded to property managers that recognizes their documented property management experience coupled with passing a rigorous course schedule. Jim also holds the REO, SHS and SRES designations.
